Interact with Document Viewer

This content item displays documents. The documents may be associated with a tag or asset.

  • If you access a document directly from search results, the content item is expanded by default. Select Full screen Resize icon to resize the viewer and view the summary page for the document.

  • If you are accessing the viewer from a tag associated with two or more documents, you can select Toggle List Toggle list icon in the document viewer toolbar to view and select from other documents.

  • When viewing the list, select Expand all to expand all the items, or Collapse all to collapse all items.

  • To view document details, including attributes, relationships, and contents, select DetailsDetails icon in the document viewer toolbar.

    • You can also select a tag within the document to view additional details for that tag.

    • If a document contains multiple renditions, the Info & files tab lists each rendition. A Primary File icon identifies the primary rendition. Select next to a rendition to display it in the viewer.

  • To download the file currently displayed in the viewer, select Download in the document viewer toolbar.

In this video, you’ll learn how to view, switch, and download document renditions with the Document Viewer in CONNECT visualization.

The Document Viewer displays documents associated with an asset or tag.

Some documents have multiple renditions, such as alternate file formats or variations.

You can access each available rendition from the Document Viewer.

To view renditions, select a document from the list, then select Details to open the details side sheet.

The Info & files tab displays all available renditions in a sorted list.

A distinct icon identifies the primary file.

To switch renditions, select the icon next to the desired rendition. The viewer updates immediately to display it.

To download a specific rendition, confirm it is currently displayed in the viewer and then select Download.

The downloaded file matches what you see in the viewer.
