Use Markup on a document

Markup allows you to save document annotations to different layers that can be toggled on or off. Markups are saved with the last modified date as well as the last user who modified it.

Save documentation annotations with Markup

  1. Annotate your document.

    To annotate a document, select Annotate from the document viewer toolbar and then use the available tools as needed. The viewer controls differ depending on the document type. For more information, see Navigate 2D drawings and View documents in Accusoft™ viewer.

  2. Select the Markup icon on the document viewer, then select Create.

  3. Provide a Name and, optionally, a Description for your Markup.

  4. Select Save.

    The new Markup will be displayed in the Markups list with the last modified date and modifying user.

Show or hide a Markup

To toggle visibility for a single Markup, select the Show/Hide icon next to the Markup name.

Delete a Markup

To delete a Markup, select it from the list, then select the Delete icon.
