Change the asset for a dashboard

You can change the asset that the dashboard's content displays information about if the dashboard has been configured to allow it. To change the asset, select the asset button in the upper left corner of the dashboard. Select the asset that you want to display.

Note the following:

• Not all content may update. Some dashboards display data that isn't compatible with this capability, and the dashboard's editor can choose which content items update based on the dashboard's asset.

• Select an asset that is compatible with the content in the dashboard. Some content items display specific data that may not be available for all assets.

  If the dashboard includes content that shows events, select an asset that has the same type of event. If you choose an asset that doesn't have the same type of event, the content will not be able to display data. If this occurs, reload the page to return the dashboard to its original asset context.

• For a dashboard that is embedded in an experience, this button is available if the dashboard doesn't follow the asset context.
