Download a conversation

You can download a conversation with Industrial AI Assistant as an HTML file.

While a chat is active, select Download from the Industrial AI Assistant menu.

This menu option becomes available when the assistant has completed answering the first question in a conversation.

When a download is requested, a copy of the current conversation will be generated as an HTML file and saved to your browser's default download location. The file name uses the following format (based on the time the download occurred).

IAIA_<date><time>.html

For example, IAIA_20241210171507.html.

The top section of the HTML file provides the following information:

• Email - the email address of the user that requested the download.

• Downloaded On - the time the download occurred.

• Conversation ID - a unique identifier for the conversation.

The Summary section presents the full conversation history up to the point when the download was initiated.

You can also download a conversation you have saved to your chat history. To do this, open the conversation you would like to download (see Access previous conversations) then select Download from the Industrial AI Assistant menu.
