Chat with Industrial AI Assistant (Open Beta - Preview)

Industrial AI Assistant is a digital chat assistant that is included with CONNECT visualization. It has been specifically engineered to help you find relevant information in response to questions and requests.

You can engage with the assistant using a streamlined chat interface. It provides summarized responses from multiple data sources and includes links and visualizations with additional details.

Industrial AI Assistant uses advanced large language models provided by Open AI and hosted in Microsoft Azure. These technologies allow it to respond to natural language requests and return meaningful information. You can ask questions without knowing the exact names of assets, documents or other resources. The assistant will find information that most closely matches a request.

Each response includes "citations" so you can see the information that was used to generate it.

Data integrity and privacy have been carefully considered in the development of Industrial AI Assistant.

• Your operational data is only accessible to your customer account and solution. AVEVA never has access to your operational data.

• Your data is not used to train, fine-tune or improve any AI models.

• Data sent to the pre-trained model is not stored or retained.

• Your data is not shared as part of the monitoring that occurs.

The text included in the requests you send to the assistant may be monitored and stored for the purposes of substantiating responsible usage and compliance with the CONNECT Service Description and AVEVA General Terms and Conditions (the “Agreement”). This information may also be used to troubleshoot errors and improve responses where user feedback is provided.

Customers and end users should never include personal data as part of any input into Industrial AI Assistant.

Industrial AI Assistant adheres to the data privacy guidelines, security standards and compliance defined in the CONNECT Service Description and the relevant terms of the Agreement. It has also been developed in accordance with the Code of Conduct for Azure OpenAI Service, which specifies the implementation of technical and operational measures that detect abuse and limit any potential impact beyond intended purpose.

Customer access and use of Industrial AI Assistant is subject to the Industrial AI Assistant Service Terms, in addition to the terms of the Agreement. The Industrial AI Assistant Service Terms can be found in the CONNECT visualization Service Description.
