Troubleshooting

This page describes issues that may occur in CONNECT visualization and steps to resolve them.

Duplicate assets

If there are duplicate asset names in the same path, _Conflict is automatically appended to the duplicate names, followed by a unique identifier of randomized characters. For example, if there are two assets named Springfield turbine 1 in the path /Texas/Springfield Farm, the duplicate asset name is changed to Springfield turbine 1_Conflict_lkurewg.

To resolve this issue:

1. Remove the duplicate assets from the data source.

2. In CONNECT visualization, force full synchronization of the data source:

   1. Select Configure from the navigation rail, then select Data sources.

   2. Select the three dot menu for the data source, then select Force Full Synchronization.

      When synchronization completes, the duplicate assets are removed.
