Configure the layout properties and experience thumbnail

A layout consists of a number of panes. Each pane can display a different piece of content.

The layout is set on the root navigation item of the experience. The number of panes and their layout is the same across all navigation items in the experience, but each navigation item of the experience can display different content in its panes.

Layout properties

To set the layout properties, select the blank area outside of the primary pane, or select Layout Properties from the experience dropdown.

Set the layout properties for the experience as follows:

• Background: The color of the background. Select to use the color picker, or enter the hex value for the color and desired opacity.

• Background image: Select a background image from your local storage to use for the experience.

• Size: Enter the size in pixels for the primary pane. The aspect ratio below adjusts automatically to reflect the dimensions.

Select the experience thumbnail

The experience thumbnail displays on the home page and when browsing experiences.

To select or modify the experience thumbnail:

1. At the top of the page, select the experience dropdown, then select Settings.

   

   The Settings dialog opens.

2. Select the three-dot menu next to the Experience thumbnail field, then select Select image.

3. Select an appropriate image.

4. Select Close to close the dialog.
