Import a Single Excel file with appropriate parts where cardinality is single

Use this functionality to import to update existing parent and parts records based on excel data, create parts record in existing parent record if parts are missing, replace existing parts if new parts are coming through excel. Override counter value for parent and part tag, import case data, import distributed attributes for both parent and parts record, preserve name for parent record, create tags as per naming rule if name parts data provided through excel.
Notes:
Can have parts should only be created if there is attribute mapping available or if
the mapping of child parts attributes is available.
Excel should have Name/Ref attributes ofparts so that record/update records created are based on these values.
Example:

In the Configuration module, create a DbView with parents and parts data for example: a pump with nozzle and flange, then map with the source element attributes.

On the Manage tab, in the Import group select List, the Select File to Import window. Navigate to the required excel file and click Select. The Excel Import Wizard is displayed - Choose a Configuration pane is displayed by default.

Select a configuration to use for the import, then click Next. The Worksheet and Database View configuration pane is displayed.

Select the database view to create or update for each worksheet listed. Click Next the Excel and Database View column configuration pane is displayed.

Specify the Database view columns to be updated during the import, click Next. The Counter mapping pane is displayed.

To override the counter, map the excel column with the write attribute, click Next and save changes.
