Add Grid Records

Provides an easy to use method for adding grid records to the drawing canvas.

Drag and drop the required grid records onto the drawing canvas. The grid record symbols are displayed on the drawing canvas.

If the grid records cannot be dragged and dropped onto the drawing canvas, is displayed.

The item types that can be used on a drawing are defined using the Configuration module. For example, Engineering item types or Functional item types. If the grid records cannot be dragged and dropped onto the drawing canvas because the item type is not valid, a message is displayed.
