Create Connection Point Definition

Use the Create new connection point definition window to create a connection point definition.

Type a unique name for the connection point definition.
If the name is not unique, an error message displays summarizing the problem.

The connection point definition is created as a member element of the currently selected connection point definition folder on the Setup Explorer.
Use the Attributes window to define the connection point type, display name and description.

Colour
Specifies the colour of the connection point when used on an engineering drawing. The default is None.
Remove Colour
Deletes the specified colour from the colour field.
Select Colour
Displays the Color window, select a colour for the connection point definition from the colour palette.
The example displays a cabinet on an engineering drawing, the right connection point definitions are highlighted blue when the cabinet is selected.

Class
Creates a TMS class hierarchy association, the selected class is used as the default connector when the Draw Default Connector functionality is used on an engineering drawing.
Use the Select class window to specify the default connector for the connection point definition.

If a selected class is not a connector, an error message displays summarizing the problem.
