Discipline

Disciplines are setup using AVEVA Administration and read into the data model. As a result, disciplines are read only. Refer to Multi-Disciplinary Project Data for further information.

If a new discipline is created, the New and Deleted Items Available window displays when the Configuration module is launched. Refer to New and Deleted Items Available for further information.

The Discipline functionality is used for the distributed attributes set up. Setting a discipline on an attribute causes the appropriate distributed attribute set up for the attribute and any classes that it is used on.

If required, select the preferred language. Enter the name and description for the discipline.
