DICE Errors

The AVEVA base product obtains the text of all its user messages from an external file. When the Data Integrity Checker (DICE) is used from within an AVEVA base product Project, this file is automatically available, but this is not the case in stand-alone mode. Hence the next command the administrator must give in stand-alone mode is the ERRORFILE command, followed by the name of the error message file. For example:
ERRORFILE /%AVEVA_DESIGN_EXE%/MESSAGE.DAT
Note:
This file will contain error messages referring to the operation of DICE itself, not
any errors DICE has found during the checking process.
The default name of the message file can be found from the entry for DICE in the current version of makmac.mac, the Project configuration macro.
