Paste Objects

Various methods are available to paste objects onto the drawing canvas that have been copied to the clipboard.

Paste New

Use the functionality to paste a new tagged item from the clipboard to a specified position on the drawing canvas.

Paste Duplicate

Use the functionality to paste a copy of a tagged item from the clipboard to a specified position on the drawing canvas. The copied item is associated with the same tagged item as the original.

Paste Graphics

Use the functionality to paste a new tagged item from the clipboard to a specified position on the drawing canvas. The tag properties are copied from the original item.

Paste Objects

When pasting objects using the Paste New, Paste Duplicate or Paste Graphics commands, the functionality is identical.

The prompt Specify point is displayed.

Input values in the dimension fields and press Enter or click to identify the base point relative to which the objects are pasted.

The objects are pasted to the identified position from the clipboard and the command ends automatically.
