Attribute Filters
Attribute filters restrict the display content in the Database View to only the elements that meet the stated criteria. For a filter to be active it must have the Attribute Operator and Value columns completed. All the elements that meet the criteria of the Attribute filters display.

Pseudo attributes and hidden attributes do not display in the right click drop-down menu on the Attribute column but can be input in the Attribute cell.
Expression Filters
Expression filters restrict the display content in the Database Views to only the elements that meet the stated criteria. For an expression filter to be active it must have a valid expression that evaluates to a Boolean/LOGICAL result. All the elements that meet the criteria of the Expression filters display.

Note:
Expression filters can be used with global variables (created in Lexicon while creating a Database DB view) to filter grids in Engineer, thus reducing the
number of DB views required. Once the DB view is selected the global variables for
the selected DB view are automatically populated. Enter the Filter Value for the Filter Variable Name, these will be saved as part of the grid definition.
