Draw Revision Clouds

Draws a revision cloud. The cloud is created with multiple arc segments, vertices are placed at each change of direction.

The prompt Specify the first vertex or <Default> is displayed.

Input R at the prompt and press Enter.

The prompt Specify the first vertex or <Default> is displayed.

Input values in the dimension fields and press Enter or click to identify the first point of the cloud.

The prompt Specify the next vertex or <Finish> is displayed.

Input values in the dimension fields and press Enter or click to identify the next point of the cloud. Multiple arcs are drawn between the first and second points.

The prompt Specify the next vertex or <Finish> is displayed.

Input values in the dimension fields and press Enter or click to identify the next point of the cloud. Multiple arcs are drawn between the specified points.

The prompt Specify the next vertex or <Close> is displayed.

Input values in the dimension fields and press Enter or click to identify the next point of the cloud. Multiple arcs are drawn between the specified points.

The prompt is repeated, multiple vertices can be created. The first point of a new arc vertex is positioned at the same point as the second point of the previous arc vertex.

Input F at the prompt and press Enter to end the command.

Press ESC to cancel the command. Additional functionality is also available.

Cloud Inward

Draws a cloud with inward facing arcs. Refer to Draw Clouds for further information.

Default

Draws an outline. Refer to Draw Outlines for further information.

Cubic

Draws an outline that consists of polynomial curves.

Revision

Draws a revision cloud.

Segment Depth

Specifies the depth of each cloud segment. The default value is 1. The allowed values are in the range of -2 to 2.

Segment Distance

Specifies the distance between each cloud segment. The default value is 10. The allowed values are in the range of 5 to 30.

Cloud Outward

Draws a cloud with outward facing arcs. Refer to Draw Clouds for further information.

Close

Links the two endpoints of the cloud with automatically drawn arcs and ends the command.

Back

Undoes the last action.

Finish

Ends the command.
