Running Global Projects

This document proposes a set of guidelines for the effective use of the AVEVA Global product. The guidelines result from current working experience and may be amended in the light of future experience. Global manages a project distributed over several different geographical locations connected by a Wide Area Network (for example the Internet) and so presents special situations for the administrator and engineering user, which the guidelines address.
Note:
References to 'Windows' in this document mean MS Windows 2000 or MS Windows 7.
AVEVA Global can be used to enhance projects created in either the AVEVA Plant or AVEVA Marine group of products - henceforth known as the "base product" in this document.
