DICE Commands

Set up the options the administrator require using the following commands:

• ERRORFILE (Data Integrity Checking)

• MODE (Data Integrity Checking)

• MAXERRORS (Data Integrity Checking)

• MAXWARNINGS (Data Integrity Checking)

• STATISTICS (Data Integrity Checking)

The administrator can send the reports generated by the Data Integrity Checker (DICE) to a named file using the ALPHA command.

The administrator can check one or more Database (DB) files by using the CHECK command. In this mode, the administrator can only refer to DBs by their external file names rather than by their internal DB names. Up to ten files may be specified in a single command.

Note:
The EXTERNAL command cannot be used in stand-alone mode (or by REMOTE CHECK), because only one DB file can be accessed at a time.
