Simulation

Note:
The Simulation tab becomes available if the all required applications are installed and set up.

Enables the integration of process simulation schematic with Process Flow Diagram (PFD), including all heat and material balance data, ensuring process data from simulation is available in the engineering database for use by project teams.

Provides seamless data transfers from the simulation product (AVEVA PRO/II Simulation or AVEVA Process Simulation) to AVEVA Engineering.

If AVEVA Process Simulation is used, data can be be transferred back to the simulation product, the simulation can be rebuilt based on the feedback from AVEVA Engineering, and the data can be re-transferred to AVEVA Engineering. After the simulation data is available in AVEVA Engineering, the data can be transferred to applications such as AVEVA E3D Design, AVEVA Diagrams and AVEVA P&ID based on what stage of detail design is available.
