Update the OMI web client for all users

The OMI web client software is stored in each user's browser cache the first time they open the web client. After you have installed the patch on the OMI web server node, you should inform all users--whether they are on a System Platform node, a PC or workstation that does not have System Platform installed, or a mobile device--that a new version has been installed. Each user should then perform the steps below to make sure they are using the new version.
-
Refresh each OMI web client browser page.
-
Check the version number in the footer of the web client page. It should show 2023R2SP1P03.
-
If the version is not shown in the footer, wait for a few minutes, close all browser instances that are running the OMI web client, then re-open the web client and check for the version again.
-
Rarely, the software may appear as if it has not been patched, and the version will not be updated. This is usually due to a cached version of the software appearing in the browser. If this happens, clear the browser cache.
