Change the AVEVA Unified Learning role

Administrators and Instructors can use the Current role list on the AVEVA Unified Learning home page banner to change their display to only show (but can still use) available items for that selected role. Items that are not available in that role are hidden in their account. For example:

If an Instructor changes their role display to a Trainee, then their AVEVA Unified Learning account hides the Instructor dashboard.

If an Administrator changes their role display to an Instructor, the Instructor dashboard only displays user groups where they are assigned as the Instructor.

Changing the role does not change the AVEVA Unified Learning account that you signed into. For example, you are still signed in as an Administrator if you change your role to Instructor or Trainee.
The available roles that you can change to depend on which AVEVA Unified Learning account you sign into:

In an Administrator account, you can change your role to an Instructor or Trainee.

In an Instructor account, you can change your role to a Trainee.

You cannot change your role in a Trainee account. The Current role list is not available in a Trainee account.
Change the AVEVA Unified Learning role

On the AVEVA Unified Learning banner, in the Current role list, select the role to display.
Your AVEVA Unified Learning account display changes to the new role selection.
The platform hides all items that are not available under that role.
