Leave a pre-scheduled Instructor-led Operator Training Simulator training session with multiple Trainees

On supported Instructor-led exercises, you can choose to leave a running Operator Training Simulator (OTS) session and continue it at a later date.

Important: Saved sessions are only available for 60 days from the last time you sign in.

To avoid data conflicts with saving multiple Instructor-led sessions saving at the same time, the Save and Continue feature is only available for one session at a time. If an Instructor schedules multiple concurrent sessions, then the Save and Continue feature is available on the first session that you end. The Save and Continue feature is not available on subsequent sessions scheduled to be started until after the first session ends.

Leave an Instructor-led OTS training session

1. At the top of the session, select End Exercise.

   

   An End Exercise dialog appears with a message Are you sure you want to end your session?

   

2. (Optional) Select Cancel to return to the running session.

3. Select Yes, but continue.

   A Confirm page appears.

   

4. (Optional) To return to the course's Training schedule page (also known as the Instructor lobby), select Cancel.

5. Select Save and exit.

   The Save and Continue feature retains the simulation state at this moment.

   If the Instructor-led exercise supports it, all of your saved snapshots and scenarios are saved into the Personal Instructor Workspace. See Understand the Personal Instructor Workspace for more information.
