Access the Dynamic Simulation model and Instructor station with the Instructor Station link

As an Instructor, you can access the Dynamic Simulation Model and Instructor Station through a link after launching an Operator Training Simulator (OTS) session. This link allows you to access the Dynamic Simulation Model and Instructor Station without having to connect to a Trainee session. This gives you time to test out procedures and exercises before being in front of a class.

Use the following procedure to access the Dynamic Simulation Model and Instructor Station in an OTS session.

Note: This procedure contains some specific instructions for opening an OTS session with the intention of using the Instructor Station link. If you want to connect to a Trainee's session, see Connect to and run a Trainee's Operator Training Simulator session.

Access and start your OTS activity using the Instructor Station link

1. In My learning, select and open an OTS activity.

   See Operator Training Simulator activities for details on how to open an OTS activity.

2. On the upper banner of the session, select Instructor Station.

   The Instructor Station link is available by default for all Process Competency Training courses in the OTS Model Initial Conditions module, but may also be available in other custom configurations.

   The Instructor Station displays in a new tab.
