Select an Instructor-led Operator Training Simulator training session

To schedule an Instructor-led Operator Training Simulator (OTS) training session, you first need to select the session activity in the course's Schedule training page, where you can also update the session's default title and add a description.

Select the OTS training session

1. In the Instructor dashboard, locate the course that you want to schedule a session for.

   Ensure that you locate the course under the correct user group and curriculum.

   

2. In the course's entry, under the Training schedule column, select Schedule ().

   If a course does not have the Schedule icon (), it means it does not support pre-scheduling.

   The course's Schedule training page appears.

   

3. In the Activity list, select an activity.

   If you change the activity in the Activity list, the Schedule training page reloads and the session title resets to the new default name.

4. (Optional) In the Session title box, update the default session title using up to 50 characters.

   This title appears as the session title in the Training schedule page and under Upcoming Events.

   By default, [course name] – [activity name] displays as the session title, which you can leave without changing if desired.

   Note: You cannot leave the Session title blank.

5. (Optional) In the Session description box, enter a description for the session.

   This description displays in the session's invitation email that is sent to the Trainees, Upcoming Events, and in the Final scores page.
