Create a custom set of Instructor-led OTS training session evaluations

Administrators can import a custom set of Instructor-led Operator Training Simulator (OTS) training session scoring evaluations into the platform where Instructors can use them with or without the default scoring evaluations to grade Trainees after their sessions are complete. Instructors may want to use a custom set of scoring evaluations to clearly define their Trainee assessment during Instructor-led OTS training sessions, which are not available in the default evaluations.

Display the Custom Evaluations Fields section

1. In the Administrator dashboard, scroll down to the Evaluation options for Instructor-led sessions section.

   

2. Under the Actions column, move the Use Custom Fields slider to the right.

   The Custom Evaluations Fields section appears below the Evaluation options for Instructor-led sessions section. Before an Administrator imports a Custom Evaluation Fields template into the platform for the first time, the Custom Evaluations Fields section only contains the Export Sample CSV and Import Fields buttons.

   

   After an Administrator imports a Custom Evaluation Fields template into the platform, the Custom Evaluations Fields section looks like the following figure:

   

   The set of custom OTS training session evaluations saved in the platform is made available in the Final Scores page and the Activity report.

The Custom Evaluations Fields section contains the following information:

• Export Sample CSV, Import Fields, and Export Fields — Select these buttons to download or import a Custom Evaluation Fields template. See Fill out or update a Custom Evaluation Fields template and Import a Custom Evaluation Fields template into the platform for more information.

• Under the buttons row is a record of the last Administrator who imported a Custom Evaluation Fields template into the platform.

• List of the Custom Score Names — This list displays the Custom Score Names from the Custom Evaluation Fields template that are imported into the platform. You can hover over the Description () icon next to each Custom Score Name to display a detailed description. See Fill out or update a Custom Evaluation Fields template for more information.

• Link to the View Custom Evaluation Fields page — In this page, you can view each custom session evaluation from the Custom Evaluation Fields template, which includes the items for each list and its default selection.
