Root or Parent Folder Properties

Right-click the root folder or a parent folder to access the properties for that folder. Everyone has Read-only permissions on those root folders available out of the box. But, only the creator of a folder or the Administrator has permissions to edit the properties.

In the Details section, you can change the name of the folder. The Name is a mandatory field. The Details section also provides the create and update histories and your currently effective permissions.
To share a folder or assign permissions to other users:

In the Permissions section, click Add.

In the Add Permissions window, select a user or user group from the dropdown. You may select more than one user or user group at a time.

Click Select.

In the Permissions for <user or user group> section, select the Allow or Deny check boxes for the following actions:

Read
-
Modify
-
Delete
-
Manage Permissions
-
Add Items
-
Remove Items
-
Change Parent
-
Click Save.
