Import from MS Excel

This section describes the requirements set by AVEVA Information Standards Manager™ (AVEVA ISM) while reading Class Library definitions from a Microsoft® Excel® (Excel or MS Excel) workbook, according to ISM Standard Excel Format v1.2.0.

This section is accompanied by ISM Standard Excel Format v1.2.0.xlsx, which is an Excel workbook and contains examples of each of the sheets explained here.

When loading Class Library content from an Excel workbook, AVEVA ISM can load the content into an existing Class Library model. Alternatively, you can create a new model based on the workbook content. You may also load multiple workbooks, one at a time, into the same resulting Class Library model.
