Standard Properties

To view and assign properties on Compositions or Standards contained within a root or parent folder, select the Properties option on each of the Standard or Composition. Use the Properties window for the Standard or Composition to configure the permissions for the underlying shortcuts and content.

Managing Permissions on Shortcut or Content

To assign and manage permissions on Catalogue Shortcut or Referenced Content:

  1. In the Permissions section, click Add.

  2. In the Add Permissions window, select a user or user group from the dropdown. You may select more than one user or user group at a time.

  3. Click Select.

  4. In the Permissions for <user or user group> section, select the Allow or Deny check boxes for the following actions:

    • Read

    • Modify

    • Delete

    • Manage Permissions

    • Add Items

    • Remove Items

    1. Change Parent

  5. Click Save.

If you are currently operating a Standard within the Personal folder, you do not require the Administrator privileges to edit permissions.

Catalogue Shortcut Tab

The read-only field are described in the following table:

Field Name

Description

Name

Displays the name of the Standard.

Created

Displays the date and time when the Standard was created. The date is in the format of "DD MMM YYYY" and time in the format of "HH:MM:SS" separated using a hyphen.

By

Displays the user who created the Standard.

Last Updated

Displays the date and time at which the Standard was created. The date is in the format of "DD MMM YYYY" and time in the format of "HH:MM:SS" separated using a hyphen.

By

Displays the user who last modified the Standard.

Your effective permissions

Displays the privileges for the current user.

Referenced Content Tab

The read-only field are described in the following table:

Field Name

Description

Name

Displays the name of the Standard.

Current Version

Displays the current version of the Standard.

Is a Release

This check box is selected if the current version of the Standard is marked as Released.

Is Deleted

This check box is selected if this Standard has been deleted by the Administrator and is no longer available for use.

Your effective permissions

Displays the privileges for the current user.
