This Asset Life Cycle Management capability helps you configure object-level changes in data for all its maturity levels. You can use AVEVA Information Standards Manager to create Maturity Levels and Life Cycle Types and their data relationships with Classes and Attributes.

Life Cycle:

Throughout a project's execution, an asset passes through various life cycle stages, starting from design conceptualization to decommissioning. In information management context, you may use Life Cycle Types to map that information from its generation to its consumption. A Life Cycle Type can be associated with more than one Class and can contain more than one Maturity Level. But, a Class can have only one Life Cycle Type.

Maturity Level:

In the context of Life Cycle Management, the Maturity Levels establish definitive stages for progression of information. You can use a Maturity Level to create a list of such levels at which the information may change its form or requirements. A Maturity Level is associated with Attribute. An Attribute can have more than one Maturity Level, while a Maturity Level can apply to more than one Attribute and to more than one Life Cycle Type.
