There are two ways of configuring the web sites:
-
As a separate site (for example, http://ism.aveva.com/)
-
As an application under an existing site (for example, http://www.aveva.com/aveva-ism/).
Use the following information to perform Web Configuration:

-
Site Name: Name of the site. This name will also be used in URLs for the application (in lower case with hyphens instead of spaces).
-
Install Directory: Physical root directory where the application and its files will be installed.
Note: If you are upgrading from a previous version of AVEVA Information Standards Manager, specify a different name for the folder in use (for the current version) to avoid any unintentional removal of optional plugins.
-
Application Pool Configuration
-
User type: Configure the identity of the AVEVA Information Standards Manager process. You can either use the default user, ApplicationPoolIdentity, or provide credentials for a custom user.
