Work with Standards

The Catalogue enables you to import, select and create Standards. You are presented with two views: Standards and Active Standard. The Standards view contains a list of Standards, and the Active Standard view contains an audit trail.

• Standards list actions:

  • Open: Opens the Standard

  • Audit Trail: Shows the audit trail of the Standard without opening it

• Audit trail commit actions:

  • Open: Opens the Change Set for viewing.

  • Compare with Active Class Library: Compares the Change Set against Active Standard/Change Set. Creates a temporary Standard.

  • Merge into Active Class Library: Merges the content of the commit into the Active Standard.

    Note: You can access the Audit Trail for the latest 200 changes.

When you either create or import a Standard using the global toolbar, it appears in the Personal folder. As long as you do not either tag a Standard in the folder or give other users permissions to access or use to it, no other user can view or use the Standard. You will be the only user (other than the Administrator) who has permissions to permanently delete it in such a case.
