This sheet contains definitions of Permissible Associations between classes in the Class Library model. These definitions are primarily intended to be included in an AVEVA AIM specific composition of the Class Library, but they are also utilized by AIM Gatekeeper and AVEVA Change Manager in communication with an AVEVA AIM instance.

In the resulting Class Library model this information will be held as AVEVA AIM specific extensions to the Class Library root node.

Specifies the AVEVA AIM specific class identifier on the "to side" of the association

MapsTo AttributeId

  • Specifies the attribute identifier for a permissible attribute on class FromClassId that will hold the instance identifier value of the associated object on the "to side" of the association

  • In AVEVA Gatekeeper and AVEVA Change Manager all objects are modelled as instances of classes with permissible attributes only (no physical association model). When these objects are exchanged with an AVEVA AIM instance, AVEVA Gatekeeper/AVEVA Change Manager is using the identifier specified in this column to apply values for permissible associations to the object in the AVEVA AIM instance model

If true is specified the permissible attribute MapsToAttributeId will be modelled as a Characteristic as well in the AVEVA AIM composition of the Class Library, in addition to be modelled as a permissible association
