Understand Naming and Numbering

Naming and Numbering helps you with the organization and analysis of data. You can have multiple templates on Classes, and they are derived by their child Classes. The relationship of Naming Element and Naming Template is such that when a Naming Element is associated with a Naming Template, the behaviour of the Naming Element can be adjusted without disturbing the actual Element.

Naming Template:

It is a structured collection of elements that can be applied to a Class.

Naming Element:

A component of a naming template. This component must relate to an attribute.
