To create an enumerated list item:

  1. Right-click an enumerated list in the folder structure and select Add List Item.

  2. Enter the required information:

    1. Enter a unique identification for the Enumeration List Item. This supports alphanumeric characters. This field does not auto-increment.

Note: Whilst the application accepts white spaces and special characters, it is not recommended to use them.

    2. Enter a name for the identification in this optional field. If left blank, ID is displayed instead of Name in the user interface. This field accepts alphanumeric characters.

    3. Describe the purpose of the enumerated list item.

  3. To create the record and continue to create more records, click Add. Alternatively, click Add and Close. This brings you to the Details tab of that Enumeration List Item.

  4. In the Corresponding Identifiers section on the Details tab, enter a nomenclature map. You can enter more than one nomenclature map. For information, see Implementing Corresponding Identifiers.

  5. In the Properties Specific to Lookup List Item section, the List field contains the name of the Enumerated List name under which you are creating the list item. You may change that if required.

  6. Go to the General Properties section. Enter a value in the Sort Order field. This value represents the order in which all Lists will be listed in a folder in the tree view.

The Enumerated List Item is now created and is now visible under in the Items tab of the Enumeration List. Repeat the steps to create more Enumerated List Items.

Note: To discontinue using an Enumerated List Item, select the Obsolete check box in the General Properties section on the Details tab.
