Report Configuration via the User Interface

The most common permissible grid report configuration options are available in the user interface.

To configure and export the Navigate to the export dialog box and select ‘AVEVA ISM Permissible Grid’ in the ‘Export As’ in the drop-down menu.

Permissible grid report configuration options

Report Format, Language & Naming Convention

Format

Select whether to export the default permissible grid as configured in the user interface or a custom one defined in an XML schema.

Language

Select the language to export in. If no language translation is present for a class then the default value will be exported.

Naming Convention

Select the naming convention to export in. If no naming convention is present for a class then the class library native value will be exported.

Content & Layout

Note: Fields with an * are mandatory.

Class Concept

Select the concept of the classes to be exported.

Life Cycle Type

Select a Life Cycle Type to filter available selections in ‘Maturity Level’.

Maturity Level

The ‘Presence’ indicator in the Class/Attribute intersection will reflect selected Maturity Level.

Class Hierarchy

Select how the class hierarchy should appear in the output.

Suppress Single Root Class

Specifies whether to suppress an abstract single root class from being exported.

Suppress Top Level Abstract

Specifies whether to suppress top-level abstract classes from being exported.

Colour Theme

Select the colour theme for the output.

Include Column Filters

Specifies whether to automatically create filter control on all column headers.

Attributes Axis

Headers to Include

Specify the attribute related headers to be included in the output.

Order by

Specify what to order attributes on.

Permissible Only

Specifies whether to include only attributes that are permissible for the exported classes.

Break

Specify whether to add a break of an empty column between the ‘Order by’ criteria.

Classes Axis

Class Headers to Include

Specify the class related headers to be included in the output.

Order By

Specify what to order classes on.

Break

Specify whether to add a break of an empty row or a new sheet between the ‘Order by’ criteria.
