ISM Integration with the Data Pipeline

Integration Setup

Integration between ISM and the Data Pipeline is enabled by default.

To ensure that each asset is integrated, perform the following steps:

1. Navigate to CONNECT > Folder Management.

2. Select the Account/default folder.

3. Select Information Standards Management service.

4. Open Manage Integrations.

5. Integration for the respective asset must be enabled by providing:

   • Asset ID - the name of the asset configured in the Data Pipeline.

   • Ingestion API - the URL of the Ingestion API associated with the Data Pipeline.

     

Publish from ISM

Users with Administrator privileges in ISM will have an option to publish any released version of the Class Library to the Data Pipeline.

To publish the Class Library to the Data Pipeline, perform the following steps:

6. Open the Class Library which is to be published.

7. Select Export.

8. Select AVEVA ISM Standard Class Library for AIM-A.

9. Select the appropriate version to publish from the Released Version dropdown.

10. Select the appropriate asset from the Assets dropdown. The asset list is populated by values provided during the integration.

11. Select Publish button.

    The Class Library will be published to the Data Pipeline.

    

Monitor the Load

The load progress of the Class Library published can be monitored using the Load Reporting Portal.

12. Login to the Load Reporting Portal with the appropriate Connect Account.

13. Select the appropriate asset from the Assets page.

14. The load can be found under the Files tab and the associated transaction under the Transactions tab.
