Select Authentication Method

The following are the two methods of authentication for AVEVA Information Standards Manager:

• Claims Based Authentication (Security Token Service): The Microsoft ADFS is an example of the STS.

• Windows Authentication (Active Directory): This requires a comprehensive Active Directory configuration to extract the information provided by claims. When using this authentication, AVEVA Information Standards Manager Application Pool Identity needs to have access to perform queries against the configured Active Directory server.
