Install the Portable Graphics Exporter extension for the System Platform IDE

To export industrial graphics from the System Platform IDE in a format that is compatible with CONNECT visualization, you must install the Portable Graphics Exporter extension. This extension adds a new export option: As Portable Object(s).

The following System Platform versions are supported:

• 2023 R2 SP1

• 2023 R2 SP1 P01

• 2023 R2 SP1 P02

• 2023 R2 SP1 P03

Download and install the System Platform IDE extension

1. Download the IndustrialGraphicsInCONNECTVisaulization.zip file from the Support site.

   The IndustrialGraphicsInCONNECTVisaulization.zip file includes both the style library and the Portable Graphics Exporter extension. You only need to download the ZIP file once.

2. Close the System Platform IDE if it is open.

3. Extract the IndustrialGraphicsInCONNECTVisaulization.zip file contents.

4. In the extracted ZIP file, open the folder that corresponds to your System Platform version.

5. Copy the following DLLs to the System Platform IDE installation folder. The default location for the installation folder is \Program Files (x86)\ArchestrA\Framework\Bin\IDEExtensions

   • ArchestrA.Visualization.FileGraphicHost.dll

   • ArchestrA.Visualization.GraphicAbstractions.dll

   • ArchestrA.Visualization.GraphicsExporter.dll

     When you open the System Platform IDE, the new export option As Portable Object(s) is added.
