Support for AVEVA Historian

AVEVA Edge supports saving Trend worksheet history to an AVEVA Historian database located on-premises. Only Trend worksheets can save historical data to AVEVA Historian. AVEVA Historian 2023 or later is required.

The project runtime communicates with AVEVA Historian through Studio Database Gateway. The connection between the runtime and the gateway and the connection between the gateway and AVEVA Historian are configured and secured separately. The gateway connects to AVEVA Historian over a secured (HTTPS) connection on TCP port 32565 by default.

Studio Database Gateway is installed automatically with the program files. You do not need to select a feature during installation.
