Custom widget area stays empty

If a custom widget area stays empty, check whether the Microsoft WebView2 Runtime is installed on the computer, and install it if it is missing. The Viewer does not display an error message when the runtime is missing. If the runtime is installed, set EnableDevTools to 1 and LogLevel to a higher value, and then check the Console of the developer tools in the widget window.

You can also open the browser developer tools for a widget, view the widget console messages in the log, and turn off GPU acceleration if widgets are not displayed correctly on some graphics hardware.
