Run

Click Run on the Home tab of the ribbon to start the runtime modules specified as Automatic on the Runtime Tasks dialog box.

When you start the Viewer module, it opens the screen(s) currently being edited.

If you do not specify any Automatic tasks, AVEVA Edge will launch the Viewer and BGTask tasks automatically when you click Run.

If you are not currently editing screens in the development environment, the Viewer module opens the screen specified in the Startup screen field on the Runtime Desktop tab (Project Settings dialog).

Note: Run affects the project from the target system (configured in the Remote Management tool). Be sure you know which target system is configured (local or remote) before clicking Run.
