Insert tab

The Insert tab of the ribbon is used to insert new tags, screens, worksheets, and other components into your project.

On the Insert tab, the commands are organized into the following groups:

• Global: Insert a Project Tags folder, Class, Translation table, or Procedures File (VBscript or Python) into the project (see the Global tab of the Project Explorer).

• Graphics: Insert a Screen or Screen Group (see also the Graphics tab of the Project Explorer).

• Task Worksheets: Insert Alarm worksheet, Trend worksheet, Recipe worksheet, Report worksheet, Script worksheet (VBScript or Python), Math worksheet, Scheduler worksheet, or Database/ERP worksheet or Database Connection into the project (see the Tasks tab of the Project Explorer).

• Communication: Insert a Main Driver Sheet, Standard Driver Sheet, OPC UA Client (OPC UA Connection, or OPC Client worksheet), or TCP/IP Client into the project or Add/Remove Driver (see the Comm tab of the Project Explorer).
