Validate the Recipe

Before you save the recipe, you want to check for configuration errors.

Note: You cannot schedule and process the batch unless the recipe is valid.

To validate the recipe

1. On the Recipe Editor dialog box, click File > Validate.

2. Correct any discrepancies.

   The following figure shows an error message.

   

   This figure shows that the recipe is valid.
