Turn Off History Logging from Client Nodes

You can turn off logging to history on client nodes.

To turn history logging off

1. Stop all AVEVA Batch Management applications and services.

2. Open the Windows registry editor.

3. Find the following registry key:

   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\AVEVA\Batch Management\HistoryServer\BHQ_HOST

4. Delete the value for BHQ_HOST.

5. Restart the HistQMngr services.

   The following message will be shown in the logger: "BATCH HISTORY IS DISABLED. BHQ_HOST Registry Value is not set."
