The AVEVA Batch Management ApplicationObject packages (.aaPKG files) are installed as part of the Components for ArchestrA IDE feature and installed to the ...\Program Files\AVEVA\Batch Management\AppObjects directory. After you import the package files, the following templates are available in the ArchestrA IDE under the AVEVA Batch Management Template Toolset:
-
$InBatchUnit - represents Process and Units from the AVEVA Batch Management model
-
$InBatchConnection - represents Transfers and Connections from the AVEVA Batch Management model
-
$InBatchPhase - represents Phases (including Parameters) from the AVEVA Batch Management model
-
$InBatchSegment - represents Segments from the AVEVA Batch Management model
As a good practice, you should create a derived template for each imported AVEVA Batch Management ApplicationObject before running the Import Batch Model utility. This new derived template should be used as the "base" template for the import. This allows you to make object customizations, such as scripting, on the "base" and have all other derived templates and instances inherit the changes.
For more information on importing and managing ApplicationObject packages in the ArchestrA IDE, see the IDE help. For more information on working with the ApplicationObjects after you import them, right-click the object and then click Object Help.
