AVEVA™ Batch Management

Production Schedule

  • Last UpdatedApr 17, 2015
  • 1 minute read

Corporate offices plan the production based on input from the ERP system. Different production plans are generated and distributed to the plants.

The production schedule delivered by the corporate offices contains the following information:

  • Campaign

  • Lot

  • Batch

  • Recipe Name

  • Batch size

At the plant level the corresponding production schedule is selected and loaded in the system. The only expected change in the schedule items is the assignment of the specific train to be used.

The status of the trains associated to the production schedule is monitored in real time for the operator to do the right selection when assigning the trains to the scheduled batch.

After the information required in the scheduler is complete, a new batch can be initialized and used in production.

The production requires coordination between the execution of batches. The system monitors the completion of the Mixer recipes, and new batches in the Hold tanks are automatically scheduled, initialized, and run.
