Export Formulas in XML Format

The exported Formula XML file is a subset of the recipe XML exported file and contains only the Formula and Recipe Element sections. The Recipe Element section will only include the phase input and output parameters. If the selected recipe does not include any phase input or output, no phase input or output will be created in the exported file.

To export a formula

1. In the Import/Export dialog box, select Formula from the Type area.

   

2. Select XML in the Format area.

3. Type the name of a directory or select it from the Directories list.

4. In the Recipe IDs list, select the required recipe.

5. Click Export.

   This action creates the formula file (.xml extension) in the directory that you selected. If the formula file exists, the Duplicate Recipe/Formula dialog box appears. You need to confirm if you want to overwrite the existing file. You can also specify a different file name in the text box.
