The following image shows the Environment Display dialog box for Foxboro DCS. Also, this dialog box is shown when Foxboro DCS component features are installed on non Foxboro DCS systems.

Note: When the Environment Display dialog box opens, the Environment Manager (EnvMngr), Lock Manager (lm_tcp) History Queue Manager (HistQMngr), and Security Manager (SecMngr) applications are started in the background.
When the Environment Display dialog box opens, it also starts the Log Viewer. The Log Viewer shows messages for all system activity for the AVEVA Batch Management Server, AVEVA Batch Management Runtime Client, and AVEVA Batch Management Development Clients such as startup, shutdown, warnings, and errors along with time and date stamps.
If the Log Viewer is closed, you can restart it by selecting the Windows Start menu, and clicking Programs > AVEVA > System Platform Management Console. When the dialog box opens, click Log Viewer.
A typical Log Viewer dialog box is shown here.
