Manually Switch over to Backup

You can manually switch over to the backup server by shutting down the master AVEVA Batch Management control server. The backup server assumes the role of the master.

Perform a manual switch-over when batch activity is minimal. This action ensures the highest degree of integrity of the master-to-backup database synchronization.
