Foxboro DCS Tag Management

You can use the following Tag Management editors, tools, and run-time components to automatically manage tags in AVEVA Batch Management with Foxboro DCS components:

• Model Editor

• Foxboro DCS Linker

• AVEVA Batch Management with Foxboro DCS Components Tag Driver (FoxDCSDriver)

• ProcStatus Tool

AVEVA Batch Management with Foxboro DCS components interfaces with the Foxboro DCS Control Suite using tags. The following AVEVA Batch Management with Foxboro DCS components creates, edits, links, validates, communicates, and manages tags in general:

• Model Editor

• Foxboro DCS Linker

• AVEVA Batch Management with Foxboro DCS Components Tag Driver (FoxDCSDriver)

• ProcStatus Tool

Foxboro DCS components can be installed on non Foxboro DCS systems. In this case, any updated models placed in the Config_A folder can be subsequently moved to systems where Foxboro DCS is installed. Note that run-time Foxboro DCS components, such as Foxboro DCS drivers and so on, will not function on non Foxboro DCS systems. Communication between AVEVA Batch Management and Foxboro DCS controllers is supported using the Foxboro DCS Driver or Foxboro DCS DA Server (not both simultaneously).
