Report System

  • Last UpdatedNov 18, 2024
  • 1 minute read

The reporting system enables you to configure, schedule, view, and print reports relating to the batch history that is stored on the AVEVA Batch Management History Server. SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) acts as a portal for AVEVA Batch Management reports.

For details about the software that you need to use the reporting system, see the AVEVA Batch Management Installation Guide.

Note: The SQL Server Agent service is not available in the Express editions of SQL Server. As a result, operations such as Reports Administration (Report Scheduling) are not supported in the SQL Express edition.
The SQL Server Agent functionality is exclusively available in the Enterprise or Standard editions of SQL Server.
In systems configured with SQL Server Express, the Batch Management Reports page displays the following message:
SQL Express edition detected on Batch Management Reporting Server. This operation is not supported as SQL Server Agent is unavailable or not installed.
